| It would be my one wish in life to get a client who knows exactly what they want. All too often, I get those people who want a website, and they want it to be "cool". What is cool? What is that, is it blue? Is it blurry?
One client was nice enough to tell me exactly what they wanted. "See that site? Make our site look kind of like that one." So I did. I gave them mock ups and they gave me a green light to build the site.
And it looked exactly like they wanted it. However, they suddenly became very disappointed in me because, I didn't forsee the fact that their site wasn't cool enough. That because, I was the designer I should know what the client wants isn't exactly what they say.
Similarly, my latest gig, came back to me, after the fact, asking me to revisit the graphics to make it more pizzazy.
It reminds me of that wonder Jimmy Stewart movie...
"Look Dad! Every time a client uses a vague adjective, an angel loses some hair!"
So judge for yourself. Are they cool enough? Do they have enough pizzaz?
cool?
pizzaz?
