I did my graduate work on solid-state NMR of zeolite catalysts. I'm currently involved in a teaching post-doc at the University of Michigan and am a bit without a specialty. Since I'm not doing active chemistry research, I won't be headed to Pittcon. Never been, actually. Being and NMR spectroscopist, there isn't much at Pittcon for me. I have been to the Rocky Mountain Conference on Analytical Chemistry a few times, however. Good conference, espeicially for solid-state NMR. Like everything else in chemistry, however, been headed more toward biological in recent years.
