It's relative. To some people I spent the afternoon with, my desire to stuff a fish in my ear so I could understand French would be insane. To others, it would be a funny (or lame) literary reference. So, even though some people might think I'm crazy, it makes sense to me.
To some, you would be crazy for pushing buttons to "talk" to people you can't see. To others, you're surfing the web and hanging out on a message board. So, even though some people might consider your behavior crazy, it probably makes sense to you.
Almost everybody, crazy or not, has an explanation for their actions that they would find logical. Whether or not the rest of the world would find it logical is another story. But I can't know about the rest of the world... it's outside of my head, I might be hallucinating it. Therefore, I (and everybody else, if they exist) only have the standards in my (or their) heads to go by, and we are all sane. Since some sane people are clearly crazy, sanity is insanity, and we are all also insane.
