We, as I believe, are destined to attain a higher state than a mere savage. To believe that there is no universal law or order is to believe that our whole concept of right and wrong changes with our appetites, our sight, and our smell.
Right and wrong, by definition, are not products of ourselves. We are not capable of seeing right and wrong, as we are inherently blind. Only through the concept of a universal law, written by a higher being, do we resist mankind's natural urge to seek the point of lowest potential energy.
We are beasts, but only through striving for a higher order can we evolve. I seek the higher potential, not to wallow in my own human filth. |
