What was true a moment ago isn't necessarily true right now. For example, a moment ago an old woman was alive, now she is dead. The truth that changed in that instant is that her grandchildren could go visit her in the nursing home; now they have to visit her gravesite. Those are gray areas I'm willing and able to deal with every day. Are you one of those rabid types who think that theirs is the only correct path? One who thinks that those who don't follow your path have no values or morals? My cauldron is filled with morality only. That's due to the tenets of my religion and a logical appreciation of the nuances of life. Right used to be that blacks were slaves. Did that change? Right used to be that women weren't allowed to vote? Did that change? Wrong used to be that the sound barrier couldn't be broken. Did that change? Wrong used to be that people would never get to the moon. Did that change? See? Right and wrong change all the time. Some rights and some wrongs are strong and won't change soon if ever. Circumstances dictate what's considered right and wrong. If I kill you because I want your wallet and jewelry, that's murder. If I kill you because you're trying to rob me of my wallet and jewelry, it's self-defense. In either case, there's still a corpse to dispose of. I really wonder about people who live in absolutes and deal with the world on an absolute level. Where or when did it become convenient to cease to deal with the sticky wickets of life and lean on dichotomies?
