Hello and welcome. I'm Lemming24601 or just Lemming if you'd prefer. I live in Jersey - the old one that is; a small, rainy island between England and France if your geography is not so hot.
Local attractions include miles of beaches that are laden with decomposing wraic for half the year, a French nuclear power station you can see on a clear day, the reclaimation site and the steam clock. The last two are timeless (and expensive) testemonies to the inability of the States (Jersey's governing body) to tell their arses from their elbows.
I am currently studying Computing, Physics and Philosophy/Ethics for my A2 levels while retaking modules that I failed at AS.
I discovered Userfriendly fairly recently and read it avidly. I can relate to the NT server strips - our school uses an NT server with Win98 machines. I used to help maintain them occasionally. I will be fine now as long as I keep taking my medication and pointy things are kept out of my reach.
I have recently obtained Mandrake Linux, but hope to change to SUSE at some point - I prefer some elements of it. I enjoy coding, but have only really been exposed to Pascal and Delphi, which the school use.
My other interests include cycling, driving and fiddling with bits of cars. I am currently helping to restore a 1971 MkII MGB GT that had been left in a field for 15 years. Work is slow, seeing as my Uncle who owns the car and shows me what to do, has vanished.
I hope to get a Datsun 260Z ar 280ZX (manual) at some point, as I love the design and character of those cars.
Oh well, enough about me - I'm sure you have more important things to do than read this.
