He kept the police occupied while the main suspects escaped out a secret route they had discovered on the Marauder's Map. The group had already collected enough to pay the goat's bail, his lawyer's fee, & quite a few bushels of his preferred grains. Once the heat dies down & the mob has dispersed, our group will arrange another party in a different location. We're hoping to involve a news crew this time!
