Phones seem to LIKE getting hit. Or maybe the lightning wants to make a call? It certainly has a lot to say once it does get onto the phone lines. Most of what it says is, "DIE!!!! DIE YOU PIECE OF CRAP!!! MWUHAHAHAHAHA!!!! ZORCH!!!" however, so it kind of counts as a prank call. What it can do to a bank of the old-style relays no-one still has is certainly obscene. Welded contacts, smoking coils....
