best way to scan and print? by Garrinka2014-05-17 09:23:01
Look for a non-national chain print shop. by wwill 2014-05-17 09:31:05
A small local place. Depending on how many copies you want, an off-set press copy might be your best bet here. Is it under 500 copies? Or over that? COULD it be 500 copies? You might be surprised how inexpensive offset press work can be. There will be a set-up fee, and plate charge, but a plate can be good for as much as 5000 copies without degradation.

If all you need is twenty copies, just get anyone to do it.

But if it's more, and if you can find a small shop (should be dozens, hundreds, up there) that has a press equipped with ELECTRONIC PLATES (uses something similar to a colour copier, instead of actually etching four aluminum plates), then the set-up charge will be minimal and there won't be an extra fee for etching and developing the four physical, usually metal, plates.

So, smaller shop, instead of big chain. They need the business and will make sure you are HAPPY with the output, for one thing. Small shops can't AFFORD dissatisfied customers; I know this for truth - I used to BE a small shop owner. And depending on the quantity you want, makes a difference in the duplication technology that would be best for you.

Any place that buys your ink do that kind of work?
