It's not an excuse, but it's an explanation:
After reading Wwill's first post that went into "Right Wing Conspiracy!" and religion-bashing territory, I was a bit nonplussed in disbelief.
Then he posted his second similar tangent-rant in the same TLP a few moments later, and I decided I'd try to reply.
I wrote, re-read, erased the whole attempt, & tried "to say something nice" *five times*, but couldn't find a polite way to express my incredulation.
Finally I decided I'd just take a break, come back later, & try again.
But before I left, I read Reti's riposte, and replied to *that* instead.
Evidently I failed to heed my own advice ("leave & try again later"), and for that I apologize.
Again, it's no excuse, but it IS an explanation. |
