For category placement, kids voted on-line for books they had read and liked.
Noticed that Limbaugh's little revisionist history didn't make the cut, did you? That's probably because teachers, across the country, in any place that doesn't have a "Creation Science" department on the curriculum, took one look at it and put it in the FICTION section for their kids. (Or tossed it in the trash where it belongs.)
"This book is NOT to be taken seriously. This isn't how it happened. See me later and I'll give you some other books to read, we can talk about it, and you can compare them all and make up your own mind." That's what I heard one teacher actually tell a student who showed up with a copy from an aunt who is a religious screwball of the most egregious sort. (GREAT teacher, isn't she? "Make up your own mind; here's all the data I can get for you. And I'll help you figure this out.")
