post-operative drugs, and is now firing on all cylinders. He called last night, long before they prepped him for surgery, he still was supposed to get some sleep first. Don't know how that worked out, he seemed a bit on edge. (Who wouldn't be?) But in good spirits generally. Just left a text on his phone for when he gets up, and I'll pass on any updates, if he doesn't do it himself, when I know anything.
