I'm going to be digging up really noisy/flashy NASA and rocket club videos, even military launches or anything else I can get in the public domain or at least "fair use," to make an entry video for the rocket class we'll be starting at my wife's school in about ten days.
Thoughts? It needs to be about a minute or so, and the idea is to get these kids just a little stirred up. Not crazed, just interested. It will be shown on a Promethean smartboard screen, hi-def, about 2.5 meters by 2 meters. Full stereo sound. About any format you can imagine, I can display, so that's not an issue.
I'll cobble something together, if nobody picks up on this and wants to make my rather sad efforts into something better. I can usually manage, but it's rough and people who like and are good at this kind of thing always make my efforts look sick.
So, whoosh-zoom-boomies, with a soundtrack if you like, aimed at kids around 9 or 10, with rockets. Manned, missiles, models, high-powered models, whatever.
