Update (and clarification) on last nights post: by TranceWarp2014-05-05 02:42:20
I still think you're getting upset over nothing. by Sharku2014-05-05 05:19:36
It's not the game itself dying I'm upset about. by TranceWarp 2014-05-05 16:29:04
It's the way CCP Shanghai basically treated the loyal fanbase for the game.

They played the game with the Dust fanbase that was there.

They invited those people to come from everywhere to a convention for like-minded individuals supposedly to celebrate the first year of the game being out. At the same time, they said that there would be announcements about the development of the game. There was no indication that the announcement would be a bad one.

Those that paid that money to go to this convention got a very rude awakening in the announcement they received.

In essence, those that made the trip got taken for a ride that has left a bad taste in many peoples mouths. Instead of just making the announcement, they enticed people to spend their hard-earned money for something that they would later regret doing.

The company treated their customers poorly in this case, which makes me leary of their overall reputation now.
