Inner Join vs Left Join by dennismv2014-05-05 09:54:59
Something like this maybe? by Sharku2014-05-05 10:16:10
I would consider it wrong :-) by leibold 2014-05-05 10:44:54
Depending on the data and join criteria involved, an inner join could very well be a one to many relationship.

How about this:
The left outer join will return all rows from the left table for which the join criteria does not find any matching rows in the right table (with null values for any right table columns) in addition to all the results that the inner join produces.
