Here is a question for you. Do you have the radeon_HD module in the modules directory? Can you try to use THAT instead of the stock radeon driver module, just one time, and see if there is any change?
It might be that the new catalyst drivers ARE the ones which will work best for your gadget. There seem to be mixed messaged on this from various sources and people. Right now, though, the radeon_hd driver might be worth a shot, to see what is going on here. It might even solve the problem. Need help getting the thing switched over? Be sure to blacklist the radeon driver in the /etc/modprobe.d/50-blacklist.conf file
blacklist radeon
Another thing. Have you tried running (command line, root),
aticonfig
to see what it does? |
