interest of people. If you take away the purchasing power of group plans, you put people at the mercy of the health insurance companies. Actually, IMO health insurance for profit is a problem, no matter how you slice it. But then, I live in Canada, where health 'insurance' isn't negotiable, it's just covered. Equally. For everybody. Nothing to choose, no options to decide, no profit motive from the provider.
