They are merely preaching their own morals to the employees, and forcing their values on them.
Paying for day-after contraceptives isn't even a transaction between the company and the insurance company. Nor does the company have to stretch, pay, or do anything else to allow it.
This is PURELY the company trying to prevent a transaction to which it is not a party on the ground of the owners' own values.
In other words, using their religion as a tool to cheat their own employees out of covered medical expenses. What it's for doesn't matter. |
