They tried, but I stunk... by ShadowSystems 2014-03-27 14:23:38
Passed PreAlg with an A+ and felt good about what came next.
Which turned out to be a massive a3 kicking & me barely scraping out a passing grade.
Or, as my Algebra teacher oh-so-gleefully pointed out, "An A+ before you got here, and a D Minus And A Half when it counted. You suck."

And yes, she *did* tell me I sucked.
I tried to get her fired for it, and she didn't even get an Administrative "slap on the wrist".
But Karma got Her due, because the next year the b5 getting arrested later on drug charges & her "tenure" amounted to *F4All*.
MUH Hahahahaha...

Anyway, I stink at math.
I can do stuff in my head, but it takes me longer to do it.
And that was before I was blind & could use scratch paper to help.
Now that I can't, it takes even *longer* to bulldoze my way through it all, and usually results in a migraine for my troubles.
*Sighs*

So yes, they taught me math in school.
I did reasonably to very well all the way up to Pre Algebra.
At which point my Algebra teacher wrapped a land mine in the book's cover, left it on my desk, & laughed when it blew up in my face.
=-/
