In the case of mandatory employer health care coverage, my opinion is 'no'. But that, as just about every other post on this subject I have seen here, is an opinion - YMMV.
Would it help the discussion if we could assume that an employer (Hobby Lobby, f. ex.) is responsible for providing health care coverage of a certain value to its employees, and leave the issue of exact coverage up to them? Or, in other words, why should it be allowed for an employer to impose its moral or religious values on its employees in any way? |
