and perhaps my brain is a little more functional perhaps we can go
lsmod |grep video
instead?? That will give you the precise driver module that is actually hooked to the kernel. For instance in my Mini10V I get
i915
back. Then when I lsmod and grep for i915 I get all the other various kernel driver modules that are either dependent upon, attached to, or which depend upon the video driver module. It is a rather extensive list, truth be told. Lots of crap dangles from the video driver these days....
So, lsMOD instead of lsPCI, please?
Sorry, my mistake last night, I plead pain, the hour, and a slight lack of opiates since my dope patch was wearing out (But it hadn't gotten to the point where I could replace it; I have to go the full time for each one, else I run out of patch before I run out of month. And I never run out of pain so I dasn't run out of patch.)
