corwin17's c++ help request (3/7) by corwin172014-03-07 15:47:30

    Do you really think I haven't? by corwin17 2014-03-07 17:42:39
Somehow I don't think my employer would be satisfied with "I need you to pay me for a month of reading books at random in the hopes I can find an answer to my specific question."

Also, 'decent tutorial' is quite subjective. A 'decent tutorial' would be one that answers my question. Haven't found one yet.

Google-fu is failing, too, probably because I may not be asking the right question due to syntax.

'c++ array of string class passing as argument' returns passing arrays (not string classes), passing a single string class (not a mix of single string classes and arrays of string classes). But NOTHING speaks to the exact problem I'm having. Thus, I try the *MANY* different suggestions (because these are all forum responses, nothing authoritative) in the hopes one of them sticks.

If you think that's fun, or I'm doing that on a whim, you are sadly mistaken, sir.

I can do things like this in FORTRAN and MATLAB, and used to be able to in straight C. It's all syntax and *NOTHING* is a quick look-up.

I admit my failings and ask for help when I can't find the answer in a reasonable amount of time.
