I affirmed that I was sitting in front of my computer.
He asked me to locate the Windows key, and I told him my computer didn't have one.
He described it in detail, where to find it, etc.
I insisted mine didn't have any such key.
He asked me to use Control+Escape to bring up the Start Menu.
I told him it didn't work.
He insisted it would, and kept trying to get me to do that step over & over again.
I kept telling him that nothing was happening, and my computer didn't recognize the key combination.
He told me to right-click anywhere on the blank area of the desktop.
I told him I didn't have a mouse.
He asked how I could use a computer without a mouse.
I told him it's called a Touch Screen Device & didn't require a mouse.
He said to touch any part of the desktop that didn't have an icon.
I said I had.
He said to double-tap the screen.
I said I did.
He asked what happened.
I said nothing, because my computer wasn't on.
He hung up crying.
