I think this very board showed (links to) photographs of "screw that can be screwed into a screw which head is damaged" (screwing in counter clock) and who can then be used to pull the damaged one out ... only by continuing to turn further.
Forgot the name, and I don't know whether that kind of stuff even exists in a size that could be used on laptop crews. They ere small.
