Second of all, I too know that paralyzing fear. ...all too well. :) I also think that sticking my hand on a hot stove would be a more pleasant experience than getting within 10' of a spider. House spiders (the little grey ones with black racing stripes) are the only ones I have no fear of. I won't even go into the night a couple of brown widow eggs hatched in my computer shed and I quite literally had thousands of baby spiders trying to balloon from the light above my head. ...irrational fear, ya, I know it. ;) As I said, I still kill. ...I just do my best to avoid it as much as possible. That is about the best any human can do.
