I didn't mean to reject them by responding with whining about my phobia issues. You are right that it is generally better not to kill than to kill. And I know what you mean about the joy -- catching a fly and letting it go outside definitely feels good. I just don't think I can go there with stinging/biting insects right now. I don't have a love-of-all-life so strong that I would put my hand on a hot stove to save a wasp, and my phobic reactions are strong enough that I think touching a hot stove would actually be easier than catching a wasp...
