Please help me find a philosophy/spirituality/etc. by oot2014-02-08 16:33:27
  I really cannot add to what others have said by radiowave911 2014-02-08 18:25:23
so instead, I will just offer this: {{{{{oot}}}}}

Many of us here have watched you grow into the wonderful young woman you are today. You do belong here, you are one of us, a part of our family.

I think taking a religions class, whether at a local community college or one of the free online classes, may be able to help you along. If nothing else, you may learn something you did not know before.

Personally, I am Christian. Technically Lutheran, if you want to get specific. I go to church twice a year - Christmas and Easter, mainly to keep SWMBO and the girls happy. This does not mean that I do not have religion, I just don't buy into all of the doctrine in any of the mainstream Christian churches. Like you an Buddhism - you liked some of it's tenets (at least, it seems that way), but did not buy into all of the doctrine/teachings. There is nothing at all wrong with that.

I feel, and apparently others here do as well, that spiritual/religious/philosophical beliefs are a personal thing. What works for one does not work for others. Find what you like, embrace it, and be the best oot you can be.

If you feel you must belong to a group - you already do. UFies. Maybe we need a church of the UFicle :)
