It's a good idea... but I have visited the local Unitarians in the past (one of the first places I went when I stopped going to temple), and didn't really click.

I am interested in the Quakers, who sound a lot like Buddhists minus some of the harder-to-swallow teachings and with a lot more history practicing-what-they-believe... but as far as I'm aware they're basically/majority Christians, so I'm not sure I would belong there since I very much do not believe in God.

...and I still miss the Buddhists. But I'm afraid there are some Buddhist things I just cannot believe
