AdBlock Plus uses a blocklist "subscription", and if Gmail started using a new provider, or changed how it IDs the ads or their base URL, it might not have been accounted for yet.
You can update the filter manually by going into the add-in properties for AdBlock Plus. You can also add more subscriptions if the one you have doesn't cover it. (Remember, though, more blocked things and more subscriptions can slow down the add-in and your browsing, so be judicious.)
Also, there's an option (added fairly recently, I believe) to "allow certain types of nonintrusive ads), which you can turn off. Maybe that's the trick. |
