Intend to have it paid off within 12 months in any case. Regular payments are part of the agreement in any case. The minimum payments required however are not enough to cover the whole cost before the itnerest-free period is up. That way they can get you if you're not paying attention and just paying the minimum. I also double-checked the T&Cs that interest is not payable on completion of final payment. Some car finance companies do that over here, heard horror stories of people having 10-grand loans on three years interest free, they make their final payment then get slugged for 8K worth of interest. Don't know HOW that is legal, but I've heard the tale twice in recent years.
