SWMBO's car was written off this morning. However the assessor has valued the wreck at close to $2,000. AND she is eligible for a loan on a new car. So at least she's got a good start on a replacement vehicle. If only we could convince the MIL that she doesn't need a 10,000-dollar loan. I have also just recieved confirmation that I have been approved for finance on replacing my washer, dryer (broke several months back), and fridge (is eight and a half years old). 2-years interest free. SO huzzah. Instead of having to pay for all of that all at once. I've got more than enough time to pay in full without having to worry about paying extra.
