/Health Inspector, I'm parking my car, I'll be there in 3 minutes/
One of my biggest aggravations on the job was seeing everything that needs to be done but not having the personnel booked to get it done. Then when the inspector comes we're the last to know, and suddenly we're expected to stop everything else and take care of all the things that I'd been trying to get done since I started.
(Old boss was good about that. If I was scheduled, and there was no work, instead of having me clock out, he let me wander around and take care of things that needed doing. He always knew that if I was clocked in, he'd be getting his money worth out of me.) |
