I was having a phone call with a guy in HQ office when suddenly he goes silent. I write him on XMPP about that and try to ring him back, to no avail. A moment later someone from the adjacen office comes in and asks me whether my internet connection is down as well. I try to ping an external machine and yes, connection's down. Hooray for VoIP phone systems. The outage lasted somewhere between 20-30 minutes. We finished out conversation by mobile phone, then I rung up the infrastructure guy to tell him about the outage. He pointed me to the paper with contacts for the company that services the cabling and I called to get them to fix it. Which took about 15 minutes until it worked again. Which reminds me, I wanted to ask if he got any feedback as to what caused the outage...
