I heard about "migraine" where the pain comes in pulses.
I personally have more experience :-( with "muscular stress headache".
That one can be partially countered by simple pain killers, but in the end I need somebody to "loosen up those tense muscles in my neck and back"
(Hey, I only now see that neck and back have a common ending ... that's where the big dorsal muscle enters the headache)
A good physiotherapist (deep therapeutic massage) normally does the trick.
If it is "just beginning", a continued movement "as in rowing or lifting weights" can help. But it takes some time.
(pull, push, repeat: in three different "heights"
from down to breast to loosen the neck/shoulder, then from horizontally stretched to breast for mid of the back, and latest above the head as in weight-lifting for the lower end of my back)
Well, I'm no doctor nor physio man myself, but IF the headache is "back tension" headache, it helps. And gives a little relief until I can go and find said therapist. |
