When I left for work yesterday, I almost went back inside and grabbed it, thinking that I would see some great snowy scenes on the way to work. I did not go get the camera, and I saw some great shots on the way to work.
This morning, I didn't think about it and again saw some great shots on the way to work (same route, fewer shots).
Coming home today, I saw a couple, but only got one (went home, got my camera, went back out) due to time constraints and other places I had to be. On my way home, I noticed the way the snow piled on the traffic signal in the square. That is the shot I got.
I tweaked the levels a bit in UFRaw, then loaded it into Gimp. Let the fun begin!
The filenames here are fairly descriptive. Warning: some of these images are large - like 6M in size for the panel. The DSC_... is the original after level adjusting, before Gimp-playing. |
