Torg made his Fort & Will Saves, mostly because the DM said "The Beholder takes a -5 from the shock of Torg being a FanGirl... Ewwww!"

There have been multiple times Torg has done similar routines with dragons.
When it works, the dragon is so shocked & disgusted that Torg ends up wrestling it into submission.
When the tactic didn't work, Torg cries "Bad! Bad Liz-Zard!" and smashes it on the nose.
A dragon's nose is quite sensitive, especially when it's attempting to draw in breath to breath fire, so having it suddenly smashed by a grumpy Orc with more muscle than brains...
Yeah, the backlash (or back BLAST) tends to turn dragons into ICBM's on completely inertia guided arcs.
