We have a very large population to feed, and trying to do that based on historical "hunter/gatherer" techniques will result in BILLIONS starving to death. I also find it disgusting that Monsanto can sue farmers that are growing crops that were cross-pollinated with their special kinds of seed from a few fields over. If Monsanto cannot contain their pollen (which OBVIOUSLY they cannot), then they do not deserve to keep it. (i.e. it's loose and out in the world - tough luck for you, Monsanto. Maybe you should be more careful, this time.)
