Oh wait, you were serious?
What it would be is a ten-year legal mud-pit wrestling contest, ending in either...
a) a settlement with the government where they admit no wrongdoing and simply pay a small portion of one month's profits to make it go away, or simply
b) lose the case, admit no wrongdoing, pay a slightly larger portion of profits, and pretend it never happened.
Either way, they would simply put out a bulls4 statement about security being their highest priority and customers being their number one concern, then go on with business-as-usual, which means half-a3ing everything and screwing everybody for the sake of throwing a few more pennies in the "profit" jar. |
