come clean, seems she wanted to "run away" to get completely out of the area so stupid-boy couldn't make her miserable any more. Had lined out a friend in NEBRASKA for crying out loud, who has just opened a bridal shop somewhere, and offered her a job and a place for her and the baby.
So she just "borrowed" the card, took out the money (using the pin she saw my wife use when they went shopping together, apparently) with the purpose of just leaving tonight and not telling anyone, just splitting for parts unknown and leaving us to wonder.
NOW I have to get the fraud stuff stopped, and the police report killed off, and reset things to zero.
Oh, of course she has managed to lose not only the freaking card, but the CASH AS WELL. We are pretty sure that step-moron (who it seems has been violating that order of restraint a lot when he can find her and the baby around town somewhere, and convinced or threatened her into not calling the police) managed to steal it out of her coat pocket when they 'ran into each other' at the drug counseling place earlier today. They both had appointments, and that was the last place she remembers having the cash.
Yes, she is an idiot. I mean, she got involved with my step-jerk son, after all. Proves she can't be too sharp, right there.
Losing the money is going to hurt us a LOT. I will likely be able to make the bills, cut to the minimums on the two charge accounts (Lowe's, Penney's, and one credit card, that's all we are in debt, besides the 85% paid mortgage and the 90% paid Prius). Normally I make a lot more than minimum payments, but this month I am going to have to cut it all to the bone just to make it by, unless she can find that cash somewhere.
I swear, shooting the both of them in the back of the head seems more and more like a good idea. He is vicious, she is stupid. Neither one seems an asset to the race, that's for sure. We'll have to see if the infant makes up for the two of them....
I am SO ever so sick of this. I detest drama, in the first place. I never wanted to live in it, that's for sure. My life for the last nine months has become a bad soap opera. I want to be written out of this script, now. Any way out the door, even horizontal. Don't CARE. Do NOT want to do this any longer.
Gah. Another nightmare. And the daughter-in-law has the temerity to wonder why I'm all cranky lately....
