It just makes you insensate. But it's tempting. The only time I've ever gotten drunk was during the time I was dealing with my mom having Alzheimer's and having to explain to her on a weekly basis why she had to go to chemo for her Hodgkin's disease. Before that, I never touched a drop of the stuff, just on general principles -- didn't like what it did to other people, and figured I didn't want to be that. Haven't touched any since then because of having been diagnosed with type-II diabetes.
