I'm still pretty confident I had 7 kills before I started the side
quests... :(

Well, I did the initial battlefield adventures.
Then I did one battle as a hippy.

Then I changed uniform, but there seems to be a little irregularity
in the log:


1 frat boy defeated; 1 down, 999 left.
outfit Frat Warrior Fatigues

[1974] Battlefield (Hippy Uniform)
Encounter: War Hippy Homeopath
[...]
1 hippy defeated; 1 down, 999 left.

[1975] Battlefield (Frat Uniform)
Encounter: War Hippy Baker


Otherwise I counted exactly 7 battles on each side.
Then I started with the orchard and the other hippy side quests.
After finishing the Themtar hills I battled the frat boys.

And when I was done with the frat boys I continued with the frat
boy side quests then the hippies.
