MS-SQL & Powershell question. by tonyz 2013-03-07 13:00:34
If I have a table of images, and in that table is the path to the image, is there a way to script a rename of the JPGs?

I have something like /images/$productId/01.jpg and I need /images/$productId/$productId.jpg

I'm assumimg powershell can do this with minimal effort? The actual images and directory structure have been downloaded to the local machine, but if there is a way to do this in sql, where the file name in both the table and drive are re-named that would be spectacular.

Only other option is a bit of excel trickery...
