I always trashed the xbox because it was x86.

I will not buy a console based on a panty-waist CPU and todays "upper-midrange" GPU.
I don't care that it has 8 cores. I care that Sony doesn't think performance is important in a console.

Cell may have been a challenge to develop for, but good games were produced. Going x86 to make development easier only means a flood of very poorly written games and dlc.

...but the ps4 marketplace will boast more titles than ever.

Nope. Looks like my choice to build a gaming rig this year is the right one.
