You must face such 10x as troublesome and 10x as often. It's a reminder that tools are just tools - it requires people and reason to put them to effective use. WRT the document issue, in many regards we would frankly be better off if all we had was ascii text. The original notion of markup languages was to separate content from presentation. In that ideal world, with appropriate applications you would be as able to communicate as the sighted. The cynic in me says that no brilliant idea or creation is immune from common perversion.
