citizen is all well-and-good, and will no doubt make the casual voter (somehow) feel more secure, the criminal element won't be touched by these requirements, and thus it resolves nothing. It's like raising the bar for vehicle operation standards because people have (lethal) accidents.
Meanwhile, your congressperson enjoys security provided by an armed guard... ...one rule for you, one rule for me... |
