favourite tool =) ImgBurn can take a disc and make an ISO...can't say I've tested it with a potentially protected video DVD. Once you have the ISO, from whatever source, ImgBurn should have no problem turning that into a physical disk for a DVD player to have fun with. Alcohol 120% is the main tool I use for image creation and burning - it will throw warnings about suitability etc when working on a protected disc. Likewise, once you have the ISO on hand, it is more than happy to do its thing. Win7 (and probably Vista) should know how to turn ISOs into physical discs. IIRC, I think DVDShrink can also output to ISO for one of the above to make use of.
