When does a tax become prohibition? by SnappingTurtle 2012-06-06 21:08:13
If there were a total 1¢ tax on a pack of cigarettes, it would not be reasonable to call that prohibition. If there were a $1 million tax per pack, that would effectively be prohibition.

Where's the line? When does a tax on such a product become prohibition?
