ATTN: Webmasters by UGuardian 2012-06-06 15:10:57
Warning: There's a domain registration scam going around!

I just checked my emails and got a notice that one of my domains was expiring and that I needed to renew it at the helpfully provided link.

The domain in question is registered through 2014, so that's obviously BS. The links refer to a .com that search engines say a parked domain (ie, no website there).

From column reads "Notice Domain Expiring" and the subject includes the name of a real domain you own.

The body of the email gives phony a registration date and expiration date and appears like an invoice.

I know y'all are smart enough not to follow instructions on emails like that, but I thought I'd play it safe and post a warning just in case.
