my car is the one without a/c and probably isn't highway worthy... chances are, if i can solve the over-heating issue and make the trip back up there my car will explosively disassemble ítself, most likely, in the middle of nowhere.
And, should i make it up there, there will be drifting...
...last night in moms car, while in atlanta's rush hour traffic jam, in the rain, every time i got to move, i floored it and got the front end to slide out a few times.
I'm taking the trans-am this time, not wife's moms toyota corolla. My trans-am is a basket case but i need to spend time with my parents, at 85 and 89 years old, i don't have many more visit's left.
worst case, i hop on my 400cc enduro with 2 gallon gas tank and make the trip 100 miles at a time. The bike is a bit on the light side, but it capable of triple digit speeds (my balls shriveled up at 113mph) and it cruizes nicely at 70mph. |
