        Asking. I have a fairly-high availabilty server by wwill 2011-09-03 14:04:45
doing not much of anything, and we could likely get several others in the same situation, chain 'em together and round-robin the load and cover any temporary outages. Share a database somewhere? rsynch it as needed or whatever works? Never looked into the ID9K code, but I suspect any Apache web server can run it with the right other bits put in place.

So, one backup can be had for the asking.... May even allow for a DNS c-name or something, Bind is running here and we can make whatever changes anyone needs or wants.

The silly thing sits there and does more or less nothing except run the house network. I can see giving somebody with network chops like Mek-Mike access to this machine. Heck, he's current and I'm out of practice, he'd probably go "Tsk, Tsk!" and fix a bunch of marginal stuff on the way by... Wouldn't mind that a bit, I'm sure.
